Our illustrious graduate, Dr. Reuma Gadassi-Polack (who was also the inaugural lab manager of the BIU lab - between 2010-2012) is making us all proud - again, and again, and again... Reuma completed her PhD in 2016, and has been a post-doc fellow in the psychology department at Yale University since Summer 2017, working with Profs. Jutta Joormann and Hedy Kober.
For her post-doctoral work, Reuma has been awarded fellowships from (... take a long breath, this will be long): the Israeli Council of Higher Education (a prestigious fellowship for outstanding women researchers); the National Institutes of Health (a T-32 grant);
the Rothschild Foundation; and most recently, the European Union's Marie Curie Reintegration Grant. This last grant is particularly wonderful, as it includes a funded year as a post-doc back in Israel - a year that Reuma plans to spend in Prof. Talma Hendler's lab at Tel-Aviv University.
