Schema therapy has been a key interest of our lab and of our colleagues for several years now. Some of the work we've done has been theoretical (including an entry in the Encyclopedia of Personality and Individual Differences and a chapter in an edited book on the The Self in Understanding and Treating Psychological Disorders). Other parts of the work (e.g., Peled et al., 2017) are based on a small open trial of schema therapy for avoidant personality disorder. We are excited to pursue this work further and are really proud of the newly minted Dr. Ofer Peled whose dissertation moved this project along immensely. We're also proud of Rinaty Kirshenfeld-Mittelman, Adi Eliya, Daniel Astrachan, and Noa Kossovsky, whose theses explored parts of these data.
